Fan count is limited by runtime, not by the inverter. A 150Ah 12V battery holds about 630Wh usable at 70% efficiency; two 70W ceiling fans draw 140W and run about 4.5 hours, four fans draw 280W and run about 2.2 hours. Swapping induction fans for 30W BLDC fans roughly doubles the fan count at the same runtime.
An inverter will happily power six fans. The battery decides how long. Because a fan is a steady, predictable load, this is the cleanest way to see how capacity converts to hours.

A 30W BLDC fan moves comparable air to a 70W induction fan. Swapping them is the single highest-leverage change available to most Indian households — it roughly doubles the fan count at the same runtime, for far less than the price of a second battery.

Fans rarely run alone. Three 9W LED bulbs add only 27W, which is why the classic two-fan three-light setup barely differs from two fans on their own — and why replacing any surviving CFLs or incandescents is worth doing before you look at a bigger battery.
Two 70W induction ceiling fans run about 4 hours 30 minutes on a 150Ah 12V battery at 70% efficiency; four fans halve that to about 2 hours 15 minutes. The inverter is not the limit — runtime is.

Close to it. A 30W BLDC fan replaces a 70W induction fan at comparable airflow, so the same battery carries roughly twice the fan-hours.
Very little. Three 9W LED bulbs total 27W, so on a two-fan setup they shorten runtime by well under a fifth. Any remaining CFL or incandescent bulbs cost far more.
One 70W fan runs about 9 hours on a 150Ah battery — enough for most nights. A 30W BLDC fan on the same battery runs roughly 21 hours.
